Collection of personal army papers, photographs and pay examples of James Morrison Barclay. Barclay was the General Manger at J.J. Colman Ltd. and attained a certificate of exemption from military service in January 1916. The decision was revoked in March 1917 and Barclay sought commision as 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Battalion, Norfolk Volunteer Regiment.
