Read MoreCutlery set

Food was a constant issue for the soldier on the front. These are not standard issue but are a neat and handy set. It is unlikely that they were used in the front line where conditions for eating were often very crude and only a spoon was possible to use. Donated by Capt. Potter who was given the set by a wounded soldier evacuating to a military hospital in Norwich.
