Silver claret jug. Highly ornate jug, a globular body set on a pedestal with a narrow neck, curvilinear handle, flip-top lid. Britannia engraved on one side and on the other the inscription 'Presented to the officers of the 2nd Battn by Col. W.Daunt C.B. on relinquishing Command of the Battalion, 1st May 1883'
