Description

The first attack on Kurna by Colonel Frazer's Force. The 104th Rifles I.A. and "D" Company, (Captain Lanyon) in the distance, had just taken Mazera, and the reed screens, and Huts in the village are seen burning in the background. Lieutenant Frere was not with "D" Company. He went with the Force as Signalling Officer. Photographic print from notebook with photographs enlarged from vest pocket negatives, taken by Lt R.T.
