T.C. 62(A) Shumran - Dahra

A corrected map of the T.C. 62(A) Shumran - Dahra 4.2.1917 version. It is compiled from aerial photographs adjusted to triangulated points, with the latest information taken on 4 February, 1917 of the Shumran Bend in Iraq. A scale located at the base indicates three inches to one mile. The map contains hand written notes and drawings by previous owner in orange and blue pencil concerning the movement of the Norfolk Regiment. Annotated on reverse states 'Lt. Carr buried Norfolk Regt. J 91, 24.2.1917.' A small photograph of same map is included inside to which the back is annotates 'Battle of Shumran Feb 23 1917.'
