Extract from Minutes, Castle Museum Committee. 4th Jan. 1922.

Resolved that Leonard Bolingbroke's offer to present the Strangers' Hall with the garden, adjoining premises, and the valuable objects to the City of Norwich, for the purpose of an English Folk and Historical Museum, be accepted. Also resolved that the following members to be appointed a Sub-Committee with respect to Strangers' Hall: Lord Mayor, Alderman Sir Eustace Gurney, Councillor Clarke, Mr. E.T. Boardman, Mr. L.G. Bolingbroke, and Mr. J.B. Walter.
