Description

Girl's white organdie dress, v neck collar with points and three small tucks, machine stitched with orange thread, bodice set onto a gathered skirt with dropped waistline, small cap sleeves at shoulder with tucks to match collar, deep hem to skirt with matching tucks, front and back of bodice hand embroidered with sprigs of flowers, many colours and patterns, worked in chain and satin stitch, made at the Manchester School of Art as part of coursework in 1931
