Description

Wedding dress made in cream silk, round neckline with opening at centre front and tucks at either side, square shoulders with shoulder pads, having full sleeves gathered at cuffs, plain long skirt with overskirt over hips extending with very long train at back, front bodice, cuffs, overskirt and train decorated with different shaped pearls, bunch of wax orange blossom at centre front waist, made by Miss Seale a neighbour dressmaker using silk sent back from Germany by donor's fiance in 1949, dress worn by donor to her wedding in Norwich in 1949
