Walter Keeler salt-glazed and raku fired wheel thrown round teapot; decorated in dark grey body colour with lighter grey and black speckled highlights on the spout, handle and cover; the spout has a distinctive 'kink' in its lower third; the high loop handle has 'kink' at upper terminal; the round cover has a well in the centre, and a bent stalk rising from the middle to form the knob
