This screen, thought to have been painted for Sillett's own home, is one of the more unusual items to be painted by an artist of the Norwich School. Its two sides demonstrate Sillett’s skill at painting architectural subjects and flower scenes. One side depicts Norwich Castle after the 1825 extension by architect William Wilkins and the refacing of the Keep; the other, six highly illusionistic pots of flowers in seemingly three-dimensional architectural niches.
