Description

Fossil, Mammuthus meridionalis (Nesti) (southern elephant) complete remains of lower right molar M3 in fragment of the right mandibular ramus. Not mineralised. Cracked, but cover cement is partially preserved. The enamel is a 'dirty' black colour, the dentine is brown and the cement is black to grey to brown in colour. The sediment is a fine to course red/brown sand, and is adhering to the crown.
