Description

Waist petticoat in white tabby weave cotton, tightly gathered all around onto deep waistband which fastens with a single button, very full round petticoat with 18 narrow horizontal tucks from hem upwards with one deep tuck above that, hand stitched, home made, marked S. Cannell, about 1840s or 1850s
