Infant's long petticoat with twilled cotton bodice with tape shoulder straps and ties behind, a finer cotton skirt with 2 broad bands of narrow pin tucks above hem and an embroidered scalloped hem circa 1865, worn under christening gown 1988.50.1 by the Donor's Father, A.E. Nunney of Berkshire in 1865 and then by the Donor in 1910
