Coat, frock style in beige wild silk, v neck with narrow shawl collar, button through front to thigh level with vertical tuck extending down to hem, long sleeves with turn back cuffs, stitched down side panels from shoulders to hip level, half belts at back and front, slit pocket in left breast, skirt loosely pleated at back, mid calf length, crude embroidery on collar, cuffs and side panels in buff, top stitching round panels in pale green, label reading 'D. Slapper, High Class Ladies Tailor [ampersand] Furrier, 189 Lower Clapton Road', circa 1918-1920
