Description

Petticoat or slip with a bodice in pale pink celanese, low scoop neck with centre front opening, almost straight slip with single tuck at each side at hips, strip of black jap silk added at hem, ankle length, long sleeves of black machine lace matching dress over pale pink chiffon, gathered at cuffs, machine stitch, knitted square of pale pink wool hand stitched to inside of back, dress preservers of white cotton, white lace edging round neck and front opening, from about 1935 to 1936
