Closed robe in corded weave silk, taffeta like, possibly Lustring pale eau-de-nil with pearly sheen, with matching petticoat, robe is designed to worn with a sash, front neck drapes in lapel like manner, elbow length sleeves with self fabric shorter oversleeve, bodice shaped with tucks, long trained skirt attached to bodice with pleats, long petticoat pleated onto narrow band, about 1795
