Day or nursing dress in woollen twill, printed design of diapered pines made up of red and yellow flowers with brown foliage, green background, round neck with piped edging, closely fitting above wrist length sleeves, triangular panel of pleated self fabric on front of bodice with fringed self fabric either side, long point at centre front waist, two slits at breast height concealed by bodice frills, full skirt gathered all round onto bodice, slight train, tuck above hem, about 1840 to 1841
