Day dress in natural or beige colour silk tussore with embroidered trim of a simple rose motif in brown satin stitch on the neckband, medium round neck with slightly padded neckband, wide pleats from neck and shoulders to waist, on front and back of bodice, long sleeves gathered into shaped cuffs, slightly high waistline, skirt loosely gathered all round at waist seam with two deep tucks above hem, about 1914 to 1917
