Day dress in grey corded silk rep, v shaped neckline fitted with cream net pintucked modesty piece, bodice has bands of vertical tucks over shoulders and down back with pouching or gathering at centre front waist, elbow length sleeves with inverted v shape at elbow, narrow waistband, skirt gathered at waist all round, ankle length, flower and leaf embroidery and openwork panels in grey silk using a Cornely machine to give raised cord effect, about 1914 to 1915
