Description

Petticoat in white tabby weave cotton, deep yoke of double fabric pointed at centre front, very full skirt made of four pieces gathered onto waistband, centre back opening fastening with linen covered button, five tucks round the bottom of the skirt above broderie anglaise flounce which has a large design of a flower within a circle within a continuous garland of leaves, marked on waistband, M.S. Batt 1858, hand stitched
