Dress in printed cotton, creamy white ground, diapered sprig motif, red and pale blue, probably made from a separate skirt or petticoat and matching spencer style jacket, round collar with self fabric frill, long sleeves puffed at shoulders, front open to high waistline, skirt straight in front, gathered at back of waist, yoke at back of neck and bodice gathered from yoke to waist, tuck at hem, about 1808
