Description

Petticoat in black silk taffeta with green cotton pocket, skirt made of 5 gores with large centre front panel, double pleat around centre back, placket opening and pocket, tuck taken all round at just below knee level, 2 section flounce, bias cut, diagonal tuck, second section has horizontal tucks above a double frill with the top frill pleated, heavy black lining fabric to bottom 43cm in glazed wool , machine stitched about 1900 to 1905.
