Description

Petticoat in white tabby weave cotton, flared gored skirt with placket opening at left side fastening with buttons and hook and eye, darted shaping at front and stitched down pleats at back, triple flounce at hem with tucks and ribbon insertion, bottom of skirt consists of underskirt with short cotton flounce, top flounce of machine embroidered eyelet work and in between stiff underflounce of heavy linen, machine stitched, red label at waist, Oxford trade mark, about 1910
