Petticoat in white cotton loose tabby weave, narrow facing at waist, no waistband, skirt gored from waist with 5 gores, placket opening fastening with mother-of-pearl buttons, gores extend down skirt where they are joined to fabric with 3 lines of horizontal tucks with ribbon insertion and embroidered flounce, machine stitched, marked in ink C. Lewin 1913
