Description

Dress in navy silk taffeta, separate bodice and skirt, bodice has embroidered bands braces style on bodice, front and back edged with pleated silk frills, long sleeves with stitched pleats of tucks all the way down, waist length with swathed waistband attached at back, skirt is gored and flared, 3 deep flounces from hem up, with top layer giving an apron effect with shaped hem, about 1903
