Petticoat in white tabby weave cotton, shaped waist yoke, full skirt tightly gathered all round onto yoke, made of two pieces of fabric with tuck all round and rectangle of plain cotton at front of skirt from tuck to waist yoke, centre back opening, extra piece sewn on centre front below waistband with single small buttonhole worked on it, purpose unknown, hand stitched, about 1845 to 1860s
