Description

Doll, mohair wig blonde, hair springing from crown and glued down, head and shoulders composition, brown glass eyes, brown painted eye brows, marked nose and eye corners, ears, tinted cheeks, head turned slightly to right, body of white kid stuffed, very low waist seam, unshaped body with voice box operated by green and white strings emerging at left side of body, jointed with gussets at elbows and knees, bisque lower arms, finely finished but disproportionately small, upper arms kid, legs white kid; clothes include white cotton lace trimmed chemise, white cotton lace trimmed open back pants fastened at waist with linen button, white or cream flannel waist petticoat embroidered at hem and fastened with linen button, white cotton waist petticoat trimmed with lace and embroidery fastened with linen button, pale green dress of twill cotton with rows of gathers at yoke and sleeve, 1 tuck at hem, lace collar, fastened with buttons and brass hook and eye, lace up boots made in light brown kid and black leatherette, size 5; about 1892 as given to Miss Olive Hann when she was about 4 years old
