Petticoat in white tabby weave cotton, waistband fastens with buttonholes and tapes, skirt gathered all round centre back placket opening, made in several pieces, stiffened from mid thigh downwards with horizontal tucks, machine chain stitched, some hand stitching, bottom of skirt bound with white braid, from the 1860s
