Petticoat in wool twill weave in maroon with 3 frills bias cut striped silk taffeta applied to skirt at hem, 7 gores with centre back seam, hem slopes to back, gores pieced here, tuck all round above knee level, opening in back seam, cotton drawstring at waist, machine stitched, about 1900 to 1910
