Drawing, 'Buckenham Ferry Church Alabaster Tablet' by Cornelius Jansson Walter Winter (1821-1891) by Frederick Sandys, watercolour on paper, undated, undated; 19.8 cm x 18.8 cm; inscription in ink front 'An Alabaster Tablet / representing the Martyrdom of St. Erasmus (one 4th the size of the original) found with the above crucifx in the year / 1840 / in the Church of Buckenham Ferry / the two together were discovered / at the depth of about 2 feet below the pavement / in the chancel carefully wrapped in / Hay / The Rev Thos Beauchamp / Rector of Buckenham Ferry / by whom they were discovered / has presented them in 1846 to the Museum at Norwich'; inscription backing paper numbered '1013'
