Description

Fossil, Mammuthus sp. (M. primigenius (?) woolly mammoth) complete remains of lower left milk molar dP3. Not mineralised. Enamel is white to yellow to black in colour, the dentine grey to brown/beige, and the cement is dark grey to brown. The sediment is a pale stained brown, medium grained sand adhering to the base of the crown.; Quaternary, Pleistocene, Cromer Forest Bed Series, from Mundesley, Norfolk
