Dress with matching cape; low v neck with self fabric tucks radiating from the shoulder to a narrow vertical piped band at centre front, sleeves pleated at shoulders then full to elbow and tight below to cuffs, round waist to which full skirt is pleated and gauged, semi circular cape scalloped over shoulders, all in a dull orchid pink silk figured with seaweed design in self colour in stripes, about 1835 to 1837
