Fossil, Odobenus rosmarus (walrus) portion of skull, left hand portion of the cranium near the foramen magnum. Inside the cranium shows the internal brain mould of the animal, the channels through which the blood vessels flowed are clearly visible. The specimen was dredged from the North Sea and is encrusted with barnicles, bryozoan and in particular an oyster
