Description
Pen and Indian ink drawing on torn out sketchbook page, of the Toll House at East Winch (on Blackborough End turning), drawn from A47 roadside, once lived in by Helen and Walter Dexter RBA. Drawing is signed "Toll House, E. Winch 27.6?.18 JH" The Toll House chimney and roof are in the centre with fir trees framing the top and sides. One large fir tree trunk centre left. On the back there is a note by author (see picture).

Wooden artist's paintbrush, measuring 17cm. Wooden part is stamped with REEVES, metal cuff around bristles has two decorative bands. Metal cuff says REEVES LONDON No 8. Varnish is a bit patchy and worn towards end of handle. Very end of handle is very slightly chipped and green-ish in colour. Bristles are possibly sable.
