Oil painting, 'Norwich Stagecoach at King's Lynn' by James Sillett. The painting shows an early view of London Road, King's Lynn from the direction of the Walks with Greyfriars Tower in the centre background. The stagecoach is entering the town from the left, children sit on the grass in front of it; a couple stroll with a dog in the centre of the picture and a gentleman sits on the wall adjoining the workhouse building. In common with Sillet's works, the representation of figures and horses is naiveKILLM : 2005.51
