Baby's christening robe; white lawn with lace round the neck, cuffs and two insertions round the hem; the bodice - central panel of whitework edged in lace with alternate vertical panels of tucks, lace, tucks, whitework; whitework round the waist threaded with yellow ribbon; central back opening - three small pearl buttons; whitework scalloped edge at the hem; white ribbon bow, centre front with long hanging ends; hand made by the donor's husband's mother in 1900 (c) worn by generations of family)
