Chemise, white linen, whitework at the neck and down the front opening, band of cross stitch round the neck; one buttonhole at the neck (the button is missing); six vertical tucks either side of the front opening with whitework, very short sleeves edged with a band of cross-stitch and whitework; from the effects of a lady who died recently) (when?) aged 90, the chemise belonged to her great grandmother)
