Christening gown; cream silk; bodice - vertical pin tucks with machine embroidered net in-between horizontal band of embroidered net at the waist; the collar and cuffs are of machine embroidered net; the sleeves have alternate bands of silk and net; skirt - deep band of silk then alternate bands of silk and net; drawstring at the neck and one button at the back; belonged to the donor's mother, the late Mrs M. Corby of Dersingham
