Nightdress, white cotton with linen sleeves; three groups of three narrow tucks each side of the centre front, diminishing in length towards the armholes, interspersed with two strips of lace insertion, collar with zig-zag edge, edged with the same ;ace - Bedfordshire type - probably machined; the same lace runs over a strip down the centre front to cover the opening and three linen covered buttons, marked HR
