Wedding dress, oyster silk, full crinoline skirt, scalloped at hem with double pleated frill; bodice boned, laced centre back and front; pointed back and front; low neck with single frill; short sleeves, puffed, edged with tulle frills; over bodice, oyster organdie, gathered in tucks to pointed waist; open centre front; high neck band, V-neck front, edged narrow lace; long full sleeves; gathered at the wrist with ditto lace; may originally have been two separate garments; dated from the 1850s; worn by Barbara Flemming from Rydal, Cumbria
