Photograph, b/w print; Reg Souter, Keith Allum, Gordon Ratcliff and Walter Wilson, members of the East Suffolk Agricultural Executive Commitee (E.S.A.E.C), land draining with their rotary hoe; one of the War Agricultural Committees or 'War Ag's set up by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in 1939. Apparently became the Anglian which was bought out by Fisons and then a large modern ditch machine which drained a field in one day took over; photographer unknown
