Postcard. Front features silk embroidery with embossed paper frame. Features a village and field scene and says 'Home Sweet Home'. On back, written in pencil 'Wishing you a happy new year from Walter.' A souvenir of World War One from donor's father in law. The upper part of the silk embroidery lifts to reveal a pocket into which messages or pressed flowers can be inserted. Back of postcard is printed 'Carte Postale = Postcard, This side for corresponsence, This side for address.'
