Ancient Order of Foresters sash belonging to Horace Walpole Allen (d.1962) from Shropham/Hockham area; wide 'grosgrain' ribbon with watermarked moire effect; bright green ends trimmed with fringe of silver wire, caught together at waist with tassel / rosette of silver wire; cream silk rectangular panel stitched onto front of sash, printed with emblem of the AOF flanked by two huntsmen with stag's head and eye above and ribbon with motto 'Unitas Benevolentia et Concordia' and 'R. White, London'; panel edged in gold wire braid; applied eight-sided star below panel, formed into dome with silver wire cross decoration on red and green silk background; all applied decoration hand-stitched
