Policeman's medal in the original box stamped NORFOLK and WALTER THURTLE. It is made of brass and engraved 'FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SPECIAL CONSTABULARY' with a red black and white striped ribbon. Attached to the ribbon is a brass bar embossed with THE GREAT WAR 1914-18. Box also contains a small brown envelope with a spare ribbon inside.
