Inscribed inside cover with Horace Howell, Fulmodestone, June 1st 1877. It has a dark blue cover with embossed stippled effect. On the front cover it has a gold printed title and 'W.A. Holdsworth Barrister at Law Seventh Edition 2/6', 1877.
