This painted wooden sign dating from the 1960s clearly spells out in bold white lettering the demands of the Norfolk Education Committee to school children under its authority. The sign was acquired from the Norwich stores of the Norfolk Education Committee but it isn’t known in which school it was originally hung. However we do know that in the formative years of the the museum at Gressenhall it hung above the desk of the first curator.
